Information and Communication Technology
ICT Ambassador
HKUGAPS launched the ICT Ambassador program in the 2026/27 academic year as a new initiative to nurture students' digital literacy and leadership skills. We encourage our ambassadors to demonstrate peer support by applying computational thinking and technology skills to everyday school life, serving as role models for digital learning, technology ethics, and campus service.
Roles & Responsibilities
ICT Ambassadors play versatile roles across campus, actively supporting peers and driving technology initiatives:
- Computer Room Discipline & Device Care:
Serving as role models for computer room etiquette, ambassadors remind peers about responsible computer and AI use, help keep equipment neatly organized, and assist in maintaining ICT equipment in classrooms and activity rooms to foster respect for public property. - ICT Teacher Junior & Peer Support:
Acting as "Junior Teachers," ambassadors are available for classmates to consult and discuss with whenever they encounter challenges while using computers during lessons or practice. - Event Promotion & External Competitions:
Assisting in organizing school-wide tech showcases and representing the school in external computer, coding, and AI competitions to advocate for computational thinking and innovative AI applications.
