Have you ever paused - just for a heartbeat - beside Chai Wan Park on your way to school? Have you noticed how the trees sway like dancers in the breeze, how the pond mirrors the sky, how turtles bask like tiny sun-catchers on warm stones?

During the week of 29^th September 2025, our Primary 5 students stepped into this quiet sanctuary, trading the classroom’s hum for birdsong and rustling leaves. Cradling tablets and dreams unbound, they wandered the winding paths, letting nature’s gentle rhythms guide their thoughts. Each leaf, ripple, and petal became a verse waiting to be born.

Here is one haiku written by 5C Celine Lam that bloomed from her reflections:

Showers of gold leaves
Cascading from azure skies
Turtles bask in peace

So next time you pass the park, don't just walk by. Linger. Listen. Let the poetry of nature speak to you.
