Taipei Technology and Artificial Intelligence Exploration Trip

Life-wide Learninig
21 - 25 Mar 2024
Taipei

The purpose of the overseas learning trip is to encourage students to actively learn and explore the world, and to construct knowledge and understand diverse cultures through firsthand experiences. We believe that such experiences can enrich students' learning experiences, broaden their horizons, and cultivate their global perspectives and social awareness.

From March 21st to March 25th, 2024, over 30 P.6 students participated in the exchange tour titled "Taipei Technology and Artificial Intelligence Exploration Trip." This trip provided them with the opportunity to gain in-depth insights into Taiwan's advanced concepts in technology development and environmental policies.

Our journey began at Hsinchu Science Park, and each destination displayed the integration of innovation and environmental conservation. At Taipei City Traffic Information Center, students witnessed firsthand how modern traffic management improves urban transportation efficiency and reduces carbon emissions. Visiting the Beitou Refuse Incineration Plant, our students deepened their understanding of waste disposal and resource recycling, while the green architecture design of the Beitou Library perfectly embodied environmental principles. The visits to the LEGO Robotics Maker Center and the National Taiwan Science Education Center sparked students' interest in technology and innovation, allowing them to even create mechanical models with their own hands, combining learning with fun.

This trip not only exposed students to Taiwan's achievements in technology and environmental fields but also encouraged them to reflect on how to practice environmental conservation in their daily lives. We hope to bring back these valuable experiences to Hong Kong and contribute to the development of our city.
